When you buy a piece of equipment from A to Z, we won’t tell you to take it somewhere else for service. When we say "We sell what we rent, we service what we sell," -- we mean it. Service Department Policies
On older equipment, it’s usually a good idea to have us estimate your repair charges before proceeding with the actual repair. In today’s market, it often is more economical to replace a piece of equipment than to repair it. When we perform an estimate, there is a $42.50 minimum diagnostic fee, or actual time billed for teardown if you elect not to have us complete the repairs. If you have us repair the equipment, the estimate charge is waived.
Notification of Completed Repairs
Your A to Z representative will contact you by telephone when your repaired equipment is ready to be picked up. A to Z cannot be responsible for equipment left longer than 30 days after repairs are completed.
Shop waiting time
Repairs are completed on a "first come, first served" basis. We will give you our best estimate as to shop waiting time when you drop off your equipment for repairs.
A to Z is an authorized factory repair facility for many of the product lines we sell. When you buy a new product from us, we register the warranty with the manufacturer for you. If you expect a repair to be covered under warranty, please let us know when you bring your product in for repair. Eligibility for warranty repairs can only be determined by disassembling and inspecting the equipment. Any repairs not covered by the manufacturer’s written warranty will be charged to you, and must be paid when your equipment is picked up.
