These cables are constructed of a larger diameter wire outer cable which is coiled to a closer pitch. This causes the self-feeding action to be slower and they are also more flexible, making them ideal for tool rental use. The slower speed helps avoid unnecessary kinking and breaking.
A right hand wound outer coil and left had wound inner are both anchored to reduce helixing and loss of cable in the pipeline. The open spaced 1-1/4 diameter outer coil helps feed cable in and out of pipeline, loosens dirt and foreign matter.
